The Eagles have landed

Our hotel is really nice. Its set back from the town yet still an easy walk. Today was just beautiful, sunny, warm and the moisture in the air was a nice touch coming from dry conditions at home.
The sky was perfect with puffy cumulus marking the lift and birds and pilots were visible all day, gliding around silently connecting the clouds and circling high above the hot windless ground in invisible elevators of air.
In the town center we ran some errands to prep for the pilots arriving Saturday. A fruit smoothie break was a divine way to give us a break from the heat of the city.
Mango/pineapple/banana is my new favorite. Rob and Marite are a great team and it was fun to hang with them all day.
Flying is the venue for tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to my first flight here. Brad said his flight was about 4 hrs long today, cruising all over the place and landing back near the hotel at the end. That sounds good to me.
Cheers!
